Introducing the New MVHS Brand

The goal with the new MVHS logo was to create a contemporary look to reflect the new state-of-the-art building and care – the next step in our transformation. Bold colors were used to reflect strength, transformation, health, trust and hope. This helps to visually connect MVHS and the Wynn Hospital. The logo design reflects the majesty of the Mohawk Valley through the Adirondacks, Mohawk River and the history of the Wynn Hospital site as the original Erie Canal location. Additionally, it provides a nod to our region’s significant agricultural base.

The logos reflect the history of our region and the expansion into rest of the country.

Purple Mountain
This speaks to the majesty of the Adirondacks and our entire region. Purple represents strength, transformation, power, and royalty

Light Blue River
The river reflects the historical significance of the Mohawk River and the Erie Canal and to the growth of this country by opening up the West. Light blue represents empathy, compassion and path to growth.

Green Mountain
This mountain is meant to portray Mohawk Valley’s robust agriculture industry. Green represents the color of health and hope.

Dark Blue Lettering
Our acronym, recognizable to the whole of Oneida and Herkimer county, is colored a dark blue to represent trust and loyalty.
