Through the Caring Heart program, you have the opportunity to support Mohawk Valley Health System while paying tribute to a special caregiver or group of caregivers who made a difference in your or your family member’s hospital experience.
Learn more about how other grateful patients have expressed their heartfelt gratitude:
“Our family would like to express our sincere thanks for the way Toni (Oles) cared for our mother and grandma, Gladys Dutch. Toni was always available to answer questions and provide support for us. She was always professional and caring. She is what a nurse should be! We have a very large family and she was always available to talk to all of us – even if we all asked the same question! Grandma passed on July 31, 2009 and we take comfort knowing that Toni was there for her. We can never express enough thanks. Thank you, Toni. You are an excellent nurse!”

“Breast cancer was my diagnosis. Scared and confused, Dr. Max and his staff reassured my husband and I that everything would be just fine. They took care of every detail of my care – every referral needed. I felt like family with them – I still do. I was never just a “cancer patient” to them. Dr. Max took an interest in me as a person – his staff did as well.”

No matter the size of the gift, your caregivers will be honored to know how they impacted your healthcare visit.
Make a donation in honor of your special caregiver or a team of caregivers and share your story with us. Much needed funds that come in through the Caring Heart program are ear-marked specifically for that department’s equipment and programs.
Your special caregiver(s) will receive a special surprise presentation, complete with balloons, that includes:
- A card notifying them that you made a donation in their honor.
- A Caring Heart lapel pin for them to wear on their badge and commemorate your generosity.
Information on the Caring Heart program is available on poster displays throughout our facilities. To learn more about the program and how together we can touch lives, call 315-624-5600.
