Ketevan Berekashvili, MD, is a Neuroendovascular physician in the MVHS Comprehensive Stroke and Neuroendovascular Program and the Medical Director for the Neuroendovascular Group.
Prior to joining MVHS, Dr. Berekashvili was an Interventional and Vascular neurologist with Interventional Neuro Associates in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Berekashvili earned her Doctor of Medicine at Tbilisi National Institute in Tbilisi, Georgia. She obtained her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from Columbia University in New York, New York. Dr. Berekashvili completed her internship and residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She completed her Vascular Neurology Fellowship at UT Health Houston at McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas, and her Neuro-Endovascular Fellowship at NYU in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Berekashvili is Board Certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and Focused Practice in CNS Endovascular Surgery from the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).
