John Murphy PT, DPT

John Murphy PT, DPT, is a dedicated Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS), specializing in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Utica College and has over 10 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings. John has been a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist since 2020. His clinical approach emphasizes personalized treatment plans using a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to achieve optimal outcomes. In addition to clinical practice, John contributes to the academic community as an adjunct faculty member at Utica University, where he teaches as part of the university’s physical therapy department. He is committed to lifelong learning and staying current with the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy. John is currently a staff physical therapist in the outpatient physical therapy department at the Faxton Campus within the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS).
