MVHS EMS Education
The MVHS EMS Education Department is dedicated to advancing prehospital emergency medical care through high-quality education, training, and professional development. As a New York State Approved Course Sponsor, we provide initial certification programs for Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT), and Paramedics. We are also home to an accredited Paramedic Program and serve as a clinical education partner for EMS students.
In addition to initial certification, MVHS EMS Education is an American Heart Association Training Center, offering BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses, as well as a NAEMT Training Center providing nationally recognized continuing education such as PHTLS. Through innovative instruction, community partnerships, and a commitment to excellence, we prepare current and future EMS professionals to deliver exceptional patient care throughout the region.
MVHS EMS Education strives to provide EMS Educational classes throughout the Midstate EMS Region, which includes Herkimer, Oneida, and Madison Counties. While this is our primary service area, we also offer classes beyond the Midstate EMS Region to meet the needs of surrounding communities.
