Dr. Karim has worked in various healthcare settings and mental health clinics, including ARISE Child and Family Service in Syracuse, New York; the Richard H. Hutchings Psychiatric Center in Syracuse, New York; and the Chemical Dependency Program at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Karim also served as the acting clinical director of Inpatient Services at the Richard H. Hutchings Psychiatric Center.
Dr. Karim is board certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry and is located at the Wynn Hospital.
Dr. Karim earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his internship at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital; his General Psychiatry residency at New York Medical College in New York, New York; and his Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship at Hillside Hospital in Glen Oaks, New York.
