Julie Rajotte-Caron, MD, has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Breast Care Center as a breast surgeon.
Prior to obtaining her medical degree, Dr. Rajotte-Caron was a surgical assistant for Kanata Plastic Surgery in Ottawa, Canada. She also spent time with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) as a registered nurse with the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) that was deployed to the Philippines after the typhoon in 2013. Dr. Rajotte-Caron also provided humanitarian aid in El Salvador.
Dr. Rajotte-Caron earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Trois-Rivières, Québec and her Doctor of Medicine at Saint James School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her General Surgery training at Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, North Carolina. Dr. Rajotte-Caron is fluent in English and French.
