Since the Miracle Drawing began in 1996, more than $9.8 million has been raised to benefit our CMN Program at MVHS. All of the money raised from the Miracle Drawing is used to care for local children and has enabled MVHS to do great things throughout the healthcare system every year. This year alone, funds were used to purchase a panda warmer for use in our NICU, a vein visualization system for our Pediatric Unit and a portable ultrasound machine. CMN funding is also used in other areas of MVHS. We were able to provide a number of interactive therapy tools that are used daily in our Speech, Language and Physical Therapy departments at our Faxton campus. Many of these items have proven especially useful for the children we see with autism.

Partners of the $100,000 Miracle Drawing are WKTV NEWSChannel 2, AmeriCU Credit Union, GPO Federal Credit Union and PJ Green.

“My passion for CMN grows every year because of the families I meet and the countless personal stories people share when buying their tickets,” said Debbie Wainwright, CMN Program Director for MVHS. “It’s truly inspiring and moving to hear and see how people connect to CMN. We are extremely grateful to everyone who supported this year’s campaign – this is a huge effort and through the outpouring of generosity in our community, we once again sold all 4,500 tickets. The funds raised this year will continue to make a huge impact in the lives of many families being cared for here at MVHS.”
