Our “Eat Right. Live Right.” program provides nutrition education and awareness through one-on-one nutrition counseling sessions as well as community events such as presentations, expos, and medical coverage. It is our objective to educate the community on the health benefits of proper nutrition and an active lifestyle.

Nutrition Counseling

Why Nutrition Counseling? There are many health issues in which good nutrition can play a very important role. Nutrition counseling can help you develop healthy eating habits that you can use in your everyday life to help decrease your risk of many diseases.

What you eat has a big impact on your health. Whether you are trying to reach a healthy weight, cope with an illness or reduce the risk of disease, proper nutrition plays an important role. Nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian can help you by providing the support and guidance needed to reach health goals and make healthy food choices one step at a time.

We provide one-on-one nutrition counseling for a variety of diagnoses, including:

  • Eating disorders
  • Kidney disease
  • Hyperlipidemia
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Weight reduction
  • Pregnancy
  • Pediatric nutrition
  • Food allergies and intolerances
  • Celiac disease

Individual sessions with the registered dietitian last approximately one hour. Follow up appointments can be made upon request. During the session the registered dietitian will develop a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan for you. Our goal is to help you achieve healthy eating habits based on your special needs.

Please contact your physician and ask them to fill out our Eat Right. Live Right. Referral Form, making sure the form includes a complete diagnosis and doctor’s signature.
