John A. Lovier, MD, FACOG, a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN), has joined the MVHS Women’s Health Center.
Prior to this position, Dr. Lovier was the director of Women’s Health at the University of Vermont’s Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, New York. Dr. Lovier was also the chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, New York. Dr. Lovier is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Lovier earned his Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Arts from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Lovier received his
medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Strong Memorial
Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. Dr. Lovier served in the Army Corps of Engineers and the Navy Medical Corps.
